Common questions

Are classes in person or online?

Both. I teach in person across Auckland (based at Titirangi Community House) and over Zoom NZ-wide — whichever suits you.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes — certificates are awarded with a minimum of 80% attendance.

Which course should I start with?

If you are brand new, try the 1-hour Taster or start Beginner Level 1A. Not sure? Email me and I'll point you to the right course.

How much do courses cost?

Pricing is negotiable depending on the course, group size, and format — email me to discuss what works for you.

Do you teach ASL or BSL?

I teach New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL). I have basic skills in some other sign languages, but all my courses and workshops are NZSL.

Not sure which course fits?

Email me — I'll point you to the right starting place.
